Take a journey with me as I climb to the top of this old fire tower in Withlacoochee State Forest. It was first utilized back in the 1930's and 40's but is abandoned today. They were used to monitor wildfires and another interesting fact, this tower was used to monitor mustard gas tests that went on in this section of the forest during WWII. Visitors climb at own risk, please be extremely careful if you decided to scale this to the top.
